Tearing off continuous forms

3. Press any button to retract the forms back to the top-of-form

position.

Line Feed/Form Feed

Use the line feed/form feed function to move paper forward.  This
function is valid when the printer is online or offline.  Pressing and
holding down the LF/FF button feeds one sheet of paper.  Pressing the
LF/FF button once advances the paper one line (do not hold the button
more than three seconds).

The printer does not allow you to execute “reverse” form or line feeds
from the control panel.  To feed paper backward, manually rotate the
platen knob.  Remember that the top-of-form will slip from the original
setting.

NOTE
If the bottom perforation of your paper is not positioned at
the tear-off edge, the length of your paper may not be speci-
fied correctly in your software or the printer setup mode.
Check that the paper length is specified correctly.  For
information on specifying page length using setup mode, see
Chapter 5.
