Main memory
Mirrored Channel Mode
In this mode, channels A and B of CPU 1 and channels D and E of CPU 2 form
exact copies of each other.
●
Channel A and channel B of CPU1 must be fitted identically and channel D
and channel E of CPU2 must be fitted identically (channel C and F cannot
be used in Mirrored Channel Mode since the "counterpart" is missing).
●
Memory modules with different clock frequencies and different speed ratings
can be used within a channel, whereby the settings of the slowest memory
module are used for the channel.
●
In Mirrored Channel Mode, the total main memory available in the system is
half as large as the installed memory.
