5.9.2.5 User commands
User Add
The User Add command creates a new user (entry) in the RCA. In addition to a
password, every user is assigned specific access rights to the RCA commands.
As soon as this command has been terminated successfully, the new user can
access the RCA in the framework of his/her defined access rights.
A maximum of 64 users can be administered in the RCA.
Access rights:
USER
Syntax:
USER ADD < username > < password > [ACCESS=< access >]
Parameters:
username
User name comprising 3-16 alphanumeric characters – case
sensitive
password
User password comprising 3-16 alphanumeric characters – case
sensitive
access
Access rights for RCA command groups.
Several access rights can be assigned at the same time, though
these must be separated by commas.
Valid values include:

> Authorized to set up console connections for the
specified port number

> Authorized to set up console connections for the
specified port numbers in the range

PALL Authorized to set up console connections for all
ports.
USER Authorized to create and delete users as well as
to change user data.
SCON Authorized to configure the RCA.
