Important notes
To Germany applies:

Private customers can return spent batteries free of charge at the point of
sale or in its immediate proximity.
–
The commercial end-user is legally obliged to return defective or spent
batteries to the distributor or designated return and collection systems
available to you.
Labels on plastic casing parts
Please avoid sticking your own labels on plastic parts wherever possible, since
this makes it difficult to recycle them.

Details regarding the return and recycling of devices and consumables within

This directive sets the framework for returning and recycling
used equipment and is valid across the EU. When returning
