Your mainboard is equipped with jumpers. The positions of the jumpers are shown on page "Cover".

Skipping system and BIOS Setup password - pinpair 1
Pinpair 1 enables skipping the system and BIOS Setup password.
Inserted System and BIOS Setup password are skipped when the device is switched on and
may be changed.
Not inserted System and BIOS Setup password must be entered when the device is switched on.
Recovering System BIOS - pinpair 2
Pinpair 2 enables recovery of the old system BIOS after an attempt to update has failed. To restore
the old system BIOS you need an external USB floppy disk drive and a Flash BIOS floppy disk (see
chapter "BIOS update") or a configured removable USB medium.
Inserted A: The System BIOS executes from a configured removable USB medium (e.g.
Memorystick) and restores the System BIOS on the mainboard.
B: The System BIOS executes from the external USB floppy disk drive and the
inserted "Flash BIOS floppy disk" restores the System BIOS on the mainboard.
Not inserted Normal operation (default setting).
