SELECTING THE FOCUS MODE
Compose the picture so that the sub-
ject is within the AF frame (

AF (Auto-focus) Mode
Used for general photography.
The lens is focused for the distant sub-
jects. The flash does not fire.

When taking pictures under low light, use
a tripod or other steady camera support
whenever possible to avoid unclear pic-
tures.

Landscape Mode
Used when taking pictures of landscapes, or
remote (night) scenes through window glass.
