To choose the role assigned to the control ring:
1
Press the function button to display control
ring options.
2 Highlight the desired option and press
MENU/OK . Choose from DEFAULT , ISO , WHITE
BALANCE , FILM SIMULATION , and DIGITAL
TELE-CONV. .

Control ring options can also be accessed from the
shooting menu (
P 96).

DEFAULT
When DEFAULT is selected, the function assigned
to the control ring changes with the shooting
mode.

control ring can be used only for manual focus, re-
gardless of the option selected above. Note, how-
ever, that the selected option does apply if manual
focus is selected when
