Basic Setup

A language-selection dialog is displayed the first time the camera is turned on.  Set up the camera as 
described below (for information on resetting the clock or changing languages, see page 102).

  Tip: The Camera Clock

If the battery is removed for an extended period, the camera clock will be reset and the language-selection dialog 
will be displayed when the camera is turned on.  If the battery is left in the camera for about 10 hours, the battery 
can be removed for about 24 hours without resetting the clock or language.
