Wide range of ISO sensitivities
With the FinePix S7000, you can manually
select sensitivity from an ISO-equivalent
160 to an ultra-high-speed 800* allowing
an ideal match for virtually any shooting
situation. The higher ISO settings excel at
fast action and non-flash shooting under
low-light conditions, as well as helping to
prevent camera shake.

Burst modes for high-speed
shooting
The FinePix S7000 provides three high-
speed continuous shooting modes for cap-
turing quickly moving subjects. You have a
choice of Top 5-frame Continuous
Shooting (3.3 frames/second for one sec-
ond beginning when the shutter button is
pressed), Final 5-frame Continuous
Shooting (2 frames/second ending when
the shutter button is released*), and Long-
period Continuous Shooting (2016

at 1 frame/second for up to 40 frames).
* Although you can shoot up to 10 frames (2 frames/second for
20 seconds) in this continuous mode, only the five frames
immediately before the shutter button is released are actually
captured.
Intelligent super-fast Dual
Method AF
The FinePix S7000 offers unparalleled
focusing precision and speed via its Super
Intelligent Fast-Action Dual Method AF
system. This technology determines and
sets focus in two steps: the AF sensor
first helps the camera to instantly measure
the distance to the subject, then CCD
contrast detection fine-tunes the focus.
The result: quicker and more accurate
focusing in any situation. The camera also
lets you focus on specific areas in the
viewfinder using the AF Area Focus fea-
ture, making composition easier and more
flexible.
CCD-RAW file format
To preserve the utmost in image quality,
the FinePix S7000 is able to save cap-
tured images in CCD-RAW file format*.
This option is especially valuable when
you want to record the full, uncompressed
image data.
* CCD-RAW files can be converted into TIFF files with the
included RAW File Converter LE software.
Photo Mode button
The FinePix
S7000 fea-
tures Fujifilm’s
unique Photo
Mode button,
an entirely
new concept
in digital cam-
era operation. This gives you one-touch
control over all basic image quality para-
meters, including sensitivity (AUTO*/
MANUAL**), image file size, and color
mode (Standard, Chrome and B&W). The
Chrome color setting, for example, slightly
boosts contrast and saturation. When
reviewing images, this control can also be
used to set DPOF for printing.
* If you select AUTO for the ISO setting, the camera automati-
cally determines the appropriate sensitivity (ISO equivalent
160 to 800) for each shot.

developed state-of-the-art image-processor, the 4th-
Generation Super CCD HR ensures greater sensitivity,
higher signal-to-noise ratio, wider tonal range, and consis-
tently superb color reproduction.
The FinePix S7000 processes even large image files
with remarkable speed, and the on-board ASIC processor
permits rapid-fire shooting.
