3.3 Starting Up/Shutting Down the
FCR XC-1 Main Unit
This section explains how to start up/shut down the FCR XC-1 main unit.
To operate the CR Console, use the procedure described in “3.2.1 Starting Up the System.”

Ensure that the Main Power Switch of the
FCR XC-1 has been turned ON.
If the Main Power Switch has not been turned ON,
turn it ON accordingly.
Main Power Switch
To start up the FCR XC-1 main unit

Turn ON the power to the FCR XC-1.
Press the POWER ON Switch on the operation panel
to turn the power ON.
Operation Panel
The FCR XC-1 will then start up.
To shut down the FCR XC-1 main unit

Turn OFF the power to the FCR XC-1.
Hold down the POWER ON Switch on the operation
panel until the window below opens.
The “Power OFF” window is displayed and the
Cassette Ready Lamp lights on the operation panel.

Press the [
End
] button.
The window then closes.
(Note that the POWER Lamp remains lit.)
If you select [Hibernation], the equipment will go into
hibernation. This is the same status as the power has
been turned OFF.
