ools Mode Settings

This section introduces you to the respective screens for setting and changing the features by using
Tools Mode. In addition, the default values and the range of settings of each item are also explained.

Setting the paper trays
There are two methods to set the paper trays.

Select the paper types for the respective paper stocks
to be loaded in trays 1 to 4.
Select the correct paper type so that copies can be
made correctly. Paper jams may result if the wrong
paper type is selected.
Note: Before you set trays 2 to 4 to Heavy Wt 1, you
must select Disable for ATS of the respective trays on
the Auto Paper Supply (APS)/ Auto Tray Switching
(ATS) screen.
