To avoid overheating of the electrical motor, this compressor is designed for intermittent ope-
ration of 25% (2.5 minutes ON, 7.5 minutes OFF). In the case of overheating, the thermal
cutout of the motor trips, automatically cutting off the power when the temperature is too high.
The motor restarts automatically when normal temperature conditions are restored.
When fi tting a tool, the fl ow of air in output MUST BE SWITCHED OFF
Warning
Use only low pressure painting guns
When using compressed air, you must know and comply with the safety precautions to be adopted
for each type of application (infl ating, pneumatic tools, painting, washing with water-based deter-
gents only, etc.).
The noise level (LpA) in dB(A) (DIN ISO3746) is indicated in the “TECHNICAL DATA” chapter of this
manual. This noise level corresponds to the maximum value of the noise, measured at a distance of
3 meters from the surface of the machine, at 1.60 m from the fl oor.
damp cloth only.
The compressed air produced by the
compressor cannot not be used for
pharmaceutical, food or medical purposes
except after particular treatments. It is not
suitable for fi lling the air bottles of scuba
divers.
Always use the handle to move the com-
pressor.
When operating, the compressor must be
placed on a stable surface.
START-UP AND USE
Screw the threaded fi tting or fast connect (according to the versions) into the threa-
ded hole on the side of the compressor and connect the hose to the compressed air outlet
(
fi g. 1
).
Some versions are equipped with a hose so that the operation can be performed directly
by the user.
Connect a mechanical tool to the free end of the hose.
Insert the plug of the power cable in a suitable socket checking that the illuminated switch
on the compressor is in the “O” (OFF) position (
fi g.2
)
At this point, the compressor is ready for use.
Operating on the switch, the compressor starts to produce compressed air from the end
of the hose in order to power the tool.
The excess air produced by the compressor in relation to that required for use is vented
by a valve located inside the compressor.
On some models, the speed of the air can be adjusted using the knob of the regulator
(
fi g.3
).
When necessary, switch off the compressor always using the key of the on-off switch.
Always wait at least 10 seconds from the moment in which the compressor has been
switched off before restarting this.
When you have fi nished your work, always pull out the plug.
