3.6 SAT menu
Satellite configuration is only available for Nebula 8S
Allows change all setting of the amplifier for satellite signal. The Nebula 8S can amplify the
signal of one polarity and band of a satellite. These parameters are programmable from the
control panel so a "single" type LNB can be used.
Supply
When you enter the SAT submenu, the "Supp" screen appears which is used to enable or
disable the power of the satellite module. By default it is disabled (
off
) and the rest of the
SAT module settings do not appear.
To configure the satellite module, first of all activate the option Supp (
on
)
You can then access the following options:

EQ
: Satellite signal equalization

Gain
: adjustment of gain

Pol
: polarity assignment
-
Band
: band assignment
Press
OK
to edit the Supp option and change the value to (
on
) with the keys. Confirm pressing
OK
again.
Press to access the next screen.
Equalizer
The "EQ" screen activates or deactivates the frequency equalization of the satellite band,
thus compensating for the attenuation of the signal level at the higher frequencies.
If you select (
on
) the equalization of 9dB is activated and selecting off is disabled.

to edit the value and keys to change. Then press
OK
to confirm.

Gain
Here you can adjust the gain regulation of the satellite signal, from 0 to 20 dB.

Polarity
In this option you can select the polarity of the satellite, selecting the voltage that is sent to
the LNB. Available Options:

0V: Does not send voltage to the LNB

14V: Vertical polarity

18V: Horizontal polarity

Band
In this option you can select the satellite band, activating or deactivating the 22KHz tone.
Options:
Hi
(high band) or
Low
(low band).
Press to return to the first screen of SAT submenu or

to go back to the main menu.
