FORK SETUP INFORMATION

WARNING! The Safire frames are compatible ONLY with single crown forks that have 

travel of 5.5” (140mm) or less. 

Use of different styled forks or forks with longer travel 

may result in catastrophic failure of the frame which may result in serious personal 

injury or death.

Certain Specialized frames and forks are equipped with tapered head tubes with a 

1 1/8” upper bearing and a 1.5” lower bearing.
