Windowing Features IPS500A
The Universal Converter off ers several options for displaying picture-in-picture (PIP) or picture-
by-picture (PBP) layouts on a destination source.
There are 4 basic layout to choose from.
PIP (smaller inset screen - 25%)
PIP (larger inset screen - 33%)
PBP1 (side-by-side screens)
PBP2 (side-by-side screens, full screen)
There are 9 picture-in-picture positions available.
All windowing settings are controlled through the OSD menus and submenus. A secondary
source must be available for windowing to operate. A swap function changes the position of the
primary and secondary images.
Not all video signal types are compatible with each other for windowing. The chart below identi-
fi ed the limitations between various video signal formats.
