Connecting the mains cable
General
If no mains cable is connected, a mains cable that is suitable for the connection voltage
must be fitted before commissioning.
A universal strain-relief device for cable diameters from 14 - 16 mm (0.55 - 0.63 in.) is fitted
to the power source.
Strain-relief devices for other cable cross-sections must be designed accordingly.

IMPORTANT!
The ground conductor should be approx. 30 mm (1.18 in.) longer than the
phase conductors.

CAUTION!

Short circuits can occur between the phase conductors or between the phase
conductors and the ground conductor unless ferrules are used.
Fit ferrules to all phase conductors in an exposed mains cable as well as the
ground conductor.
NOTE!
Mains cables must be connected to devices in compliance with national
standards and guidelines and the work must be carried out by a qualified person.
