Local regulations, the electricity retailer or other factors may require an earth-leak-
age circuit breaker in the AC connection lead.
For this situation, a type A earth-leakage circuit breaker with a tripping current of at least
100 mA is generally adequate. In particular cases, and depending on local factors,
however, the type A earth-leakage circuit breaker may trip at the wrong time. For this
reason, Fronius recommends that an earth-leakage circuit breaker that is suitable for fre-
quency converters should be used.
