In this case set the WLAN standard for the 2.4-GHz
frequency band to:
“802.11b+g”.
If the 5-GHz frequency band is not used, in order to
reduce energy consumption you can disable it in the
FRITZ!Box without losing WLAN connections.

Your radio network integrates only WLAN adapters
that are compatible with one or both of the following
standards:

802.11n
–
802.11g
–
802.11b

“802.11n+g+b”.
If the 5-GHz frequency band is not used, in order to
reduce energy consumption you can disable it in the
FRITZ!Box without losing WLAN connections.

Your radio network integrates only WLAN adapters

standards:

802.11a
As long as your WLAN adapters support the full N
standard, to reduce energy consumption you can dis-
able the 2.4-GHz frequency band in the FRITZ!Box
without losing any WLAN connections. Then you will
work only in the 5-GHz frequency band, for which no
additional settings have to be configured in the
FRITZ!Box.
