Initial start-up
DANGER!
Crushing hazard!
Only put the jaw crusher into operation with the funnel
(1) mounted!
NOTICE!
Only put the jaw crusher into operation with the
crushing plates (17, 21) mounted!
Switch on the device only after all work as described in
‘Installation’ on page 18 has been carried out!
During the first hours of operation, some grease may emerge from the
eccentric bearing of the moving crushing jaw (see also
‘Maintenance’ on page 45). After a few hours of operation, the grease
will have been distributed evenly in the anti-friction bearing chamber
and no more grease emerges.
5.1 Switching on
Switch main switch (9) to I.
5.2 Function check
Once the grinding chamber is closed and the grinding stock container is
inserted, the device can be started by the START button (26). The labora-
tory jaw crusher starts up. Continue with
5.3 Switching off
Press the STOP button (27) and the machine comes to a stop. Switch
main switch (9) to 0. The laboratory jaw crsuher switches off completely.
