1. Close lid. Make sure the steam vent is snapped into place.
2. Connect power cord to rice cooker and plug into wall outlet. A beep will
sound and the ‘on/off’ button begins blinking; this indicates that the
power is connected.
3. Press the ‘menu’ button until arrow reaches desired cycle.
4. Press the ‘on/off’ button to start cooking. Lines will move across the
display screen as the cooker begins heating. This is normal, and shows
that the cooker is sensing and calculating the necessary cooking time.
5. When the cycle has finished, you will
hear 5 beeps and the cooker will
automatically switch to ‘keep warm’
function. The cooked rice can be
kept warm up to 24 hours.
6. Press ‘on/off’ to stop the ‘keep
warm’ function. Unplug the cooker.

Carefully measure rice and water
1. Measure raw rice with
the measuring cup
provided.
2. Rinse measured rice in a separate
bowl, if desired. Rinse 2-3 times
until water runs clear. Drain off water
and put rice in inner pot.
3. Add water to appropriate level,
using measuring marks on inside
of pot.
Example:
if using 2 cups uncooked
rice, add enough water to reach the
mark indicating 2 cups.
4. If there is any water on outside of
the inner pot, wipe dry before
placing inner pot into the rice
cooker.
5. Make sure there is no foreign object
on the heating plate. Place inner pot
in cooker and rotate two to three
times to make sure it fits firmly on
the heating plate.
