As soon as the controls are set, the motor driven door

lock will begin to close automatically. “

door Loc

” will

appear in the display (See Fig. 1). 

DO NOT

 open the

oven door while “

door Loc

” is on (allow 15 seconds for

the oven door to completely lock).

Once the door has locked  “

CLn

” will appear in the

display indicating the oven will begin the self-clean

process (Fig. 2).

cancel

2. If the self-clean cycle has heated the oven to a high

temperature, allow enough time for the oven to cool

and for the “

door OPn

” message to appear (Fig. 4).

When this message turns off the oven door may be

opened.

3. Restart the self-clean cycle once all conditions have

been corrected.

Setting a self-clean cycle or a delayed

start self-clean cycle

When the self-clean cycle has completed:

1. The time of day and “

Hot

” will appear in the display

window (See Fig.3).

2. Once the oven has cooled down for about 1 hour and

Hot

” is no longer displayed  the “

door OPn

” message

should appear (Fig. 4).  When this message turns off

the oven door may be opened. Use 

caution

 and avoid

possible burns when opening the door after the self-

cleaning cycle has completed. The oven may still be

VERY HOT

.

Whenever the self-clean feature is active you may check

the amount of time remaining in the self-clean cycle by

pressing the 

 pad once. The oven door will be

locked until the range has cooled sufficiently. You will

need to allow about 

1 additional hour 

to the time

displayed before you can open the oven door.

When the oven is cool, wipe away any residue or

powdered ash with a damp cloth or paper towel.

To avoid possible burns use care when opening the oven

door after the self-cleaning cycle. 

Stand to the side of

the oven 

when opening the door to allow hot air or

steam to escape.

 

DO NOT

 force the oven door open. This can damage

the automatic door locking system. Use caution and

avoid possible burns when opening the door after the

self-cleaning cycle has completed. The oven may still be

VERY HOT

.
