The Zone 1 LED will flash and the internal speaker will
intermittently beep once. Refit the link to extinguish
the Zone 1 LED and silence the tone.
4. Repeat this procedure for Zones 2, 3 and 4. The
Control Panel will intermittently beep twice for Zone
2, three times for Zone 3 and four times for Zone 4.
5. To test the 24 Hr Zone, first ensure the temporary
link is removed between the terminals 11 and
21. Make sure you hold down the panel tamper
switch spring, press . Remove the factory
link between terminals 11 and 12 to activate the

WIRING THE DETECTION ZONES
In order to keep wiring consistent and aid
installation/connections, it is recommended that the
following wiring code is adhered to throughout the
installation:-
Red
12V
+ve supply to each
PIR Movement Detector
Black
0V
-ve supply to each
PIR Movement Detector
Yellow
Normally closed detector contact alarm
Blue
Zone circuit
Green
24 Hr normally closed Tamper Circuit
White
The power supply to each PIR Movement Detector
should ideally be taken direct from the Control Panel
to each detector, so that a break in the cable only
results in one detector being out of service.
However, the power supply can be taken from one
detector to the next if required, up to a maximum of
four detectors or 50 metres of cable per Zone.
All Zone and Tamper circuit wiring must be wired in a
‘SERIES’ loop from the appropriate terminals in the
Control Panel. Where ‘Series’ connections are made
terminal blocks or insulating tape must be used to
prevent bare wires touching each other.
Surface cabling should be clipped at 1m intervals using
the clips supplied.
Please refer to the appropriate circuit wiring diagrams for
typical wiring arrangements for the detectors supplied.
