For weather proof seal wrap external half of the bulkhead connector as well as 2 inches of
the base of the antenna in the Arlon Silicone Self-Fusing Electrical Tape. See figure #23

Inside the sign screw the 10 ft. antenna cable to the bulkhead connector.

Dress the antenna cable and screw the other end of the antenna cable to the transceiver.
Secure in place with nylon cable ties.
