2.8. Power supply connection
The equipment must be powered by cables of an appropriate size and which are capable of
withstanding the current for which the product has been designed. Make sure the cables are of
a suitable size before wiring, and that the maximum permissible bending radius is not exceeded.
The device’s electrical data, which should be referred to in order to size the power supply
system correctly, are displayed on the device’s identification label (see chapter 1.3).
The following guidelines provide information on which power supply cables to use and the
recommended conductor size:
Minimum conductor size: 6 mm²
Maximum conductor side: 10 mm²
Stripping length for power supply cables: 18 mm
The power supply to the device must remain switched off throughout this step.
Failure to comply with these instructions can lead to serious damage to people
and property, including death.
