OPERATOR SAFETY WARNINGS
IMPORTANT: Always keep in mind that the machine, if used
inappropriately, can become dangerous and pose a potential risk of
serious injury or death for the operator and for other people who may
be within its operating radius.
It is therefore necessary that only persons, who know all the rules of use
and who have adequate preparation that allows them to carry out a
proper risk analysis in all operational circumstances, are allowed to use
the machine
General Indications
During work, wear safety shoes, ear
defenders and safety gloves and any
other PPE necessary for the operation
to be carried out.
When working on the machine,
especially
if
there
is
rotating
equipment, wear appropriate work
clothing and clothing that is not too
bulky as it could get caught in the
moving parts of the machine.
Never drive the machine with your
hands full.
Operate the special levers located
under the handlebars to change the
direction of the machine
Adjust the position of the handlebars
according to the height of the
operator.
If the engine or steering does not work,
stop the machine immediately to avoid
manoeuvring difficulties.
Improper use of the machine (e.g.
exceeding the maximum load masses)
can determine residual risks connected
to the deformation or breakage of
parts of the machine. Information on
correct use and maximum approved
loads is provided in the MIUM.
Check the efficacy of the safety brake
especially if the machine has been
parked up for a long time.
Replace safety decals should they get
damaged and keep them clean to make
them clearly visible.
Any maintenance or cleaning work on
the machine must be carried out with
the engine switched off and with the
spark plug cable disconnected.
Do not overload the machine and do
not use it in conjunction with
equipment that is not reliable or not
intended for the specific task or if in a
bad state of maintenance.
