Risk of fatal injury from electrocution
Work, repairs or servicing improperly performed on electrical systems can
lead to electrocution.
a)
Have repairs on electrical parts carried out by service technicians using
original spare parts.
b)
Have servicing work carried out by authorized persons with correspond-
ing qualifications only.

Risk of fire and explosion
Refrigerant R600a is highly flammable. If it escapes, it presents a fire and ex-
plosion risk.
a)
When transporting and installing the cooling unit, make sure that no part
of the refrigerant circuit is damaged.
b)
To minimize the risk of ignition, this device may only be installed by a spe-
cialist authorized by Franke.
c)
The device must be installed in a room with sufficient space.
d)
Make sure that the device's ventilation openings are never blocked or ob-
structed.
e)
Maintenance work may only be performed by qualified service personnel.
f)
Do not use the device if it exhibits any signs of damage.
g)
To avoid damaging the refrigerant circuit, do not use mechanical devices
or any other means to accelerate the defrosting process.
h)
Never use jets of water or harmful substances to clean the cooling unit.
i)
Do not expose the cooling unit to sources of heat.
