Activating child lock
• The cooktop can turn on or off.
• Touch sensor (D), the led above it turns on. Child lock is now activated.
Turning child lock off
• Protection is switched off by pressing the sensor (D), the led above it turns off.
• Child lock is now off.
Remaining heat indicator Glass ceramic hob also features remaining heat indicator "H". Hotplates are not heated
directly, but through return heat radiating from the dish. As long as the symbol "H" is on
after the hotplate was switched off, the remaining heat may be used for warming up food
or for melting. Even when the symbol "H" disappears, the hotplate may still be hot. Be
careful of burns!
Operating the timer
The timer value can be selected between 1 and 99 minutes, and can be modified at any
time. It is possible to time all the heaters at the same time at any power level.
Heater on timer
•
The hob must turn on.
•
The user can select the heater on which the timer function is to operate. Set a power
level using the keys (B) or (E) (1-P).
•
Touch again the key (C) of the desired hotplate;
•
A "beep" sounds and a "t" letter with dot point appears on the heater display;
•
In 10 seconds set the time using the keys (B) and (E);
•
The time will be displayed in the opposite part of timed heater
Timer Countdown
The countdown begins:
•
10 seconds after the last operation on the keys (B) and (C).
•
Immediately pressing any key (C).
You will hear an acoustic signal, the heater's display shows power level and the decimal
dot to indicate that time is on.
The last minute will be displayed in seconds.
Increasing the value of the timer
•
Select the timed heater to see the remaining time (C).
•
Change the time with the key (B) or (E)
•
Accept the time with (C)
Duration of the alarm
When the time set on the timer has run out, a beep sounds for 1 minute. After 1 minute
from when the timer alarm starts, the beep stops. The alarm can be cancelled by the user
at any time, even during the first minute of the alarm, by pressing any sensor on the touch
control.
Extra powerful setting
(hotplates marked "P") Extra powerful setting may be additionally switched on for fast cooking on all hotplates.
This extra hotplate power is used for heating large quantities of food.
After switching on, the extra power is activated for ten minutes, then automatically
switches back on to the maximum normal level 9.
