13. Setting the Flow Duration
13.1
Set the required mixed water temperature.
13.2
Remove the cover platelet.
13.3
Use a screwdriver to set the flow duration.
+ longer flow duration (max. 50 s)
– shorter flow duration (min. 1 s)

Trigger the valve to measure the flow duration.
13.5
Put on the cover plate after setting the required flow time.
14. Setting the Scald-protector
Warning!
If the temperature of the hot-water supply is higher than 45°C, adjust the scald-
protector.
Failure to observe can cause bodily harm due to scalding.

The scald-protector (hot water limit stop) is factory-set (according to DIN 1988) to
40°C. Before using, set the plant-specific parameters.
14.1
Set the temperature selector handle (c) to the maximum temperature.
14.2
Remove the cover plate (a).
14.3
Loosen the screw and the washer (b).
14.4
Pull the temperature selector handle (c) off.
14.5
Trigger the valve.
14.6
The temperature is freely adjustable:
Use the regulating nut (d) to set the maximum water temperature, e.g. to 40
°
C.

Push the temperature selector handle (c) on the stop ring (e).
14.8
Use the screw and the washer (b) to fix the temperature selector handle (c) to the
fitting.

Press the cover plate (a) on to the temperature selector lever.
