5.3 Electrical connections

Use  power  cables  with an  appropriate cross-section  according to  the  rated  currents  of  the  electrical
components (see section 5.1).
Ensure  that  the  supply  voltage  complies  with  the  data  plate  ratings.  Install  a  differential  magneto-
thermal circuit breaker in the power supply system. Protect the motor from overcurrents by means of a
motor protector with suitable electrical ratings.
On versions code 2903001/-05/-12/-13/-22/-24 the rotation speed of the motor can be changed to adjust
the airflow rate produced by the cooler, by interfacing the motor with an external speed control device
(inverter). For connections and operational details, refer to the inverter's technical documentation.

Make sure that all electrical connections have been made according to the instructions in
this manual, are well insulated and comply with current regulations. The  power  supply
cables must be replaced by the manufacturer, his technical service or a qualified person
in order to prevent any risk.

The machine is equipped with three IP68 male connectors pre-wired on the internal cables of the fan,
pump and discharge valve. Also supplied (already connected to the male connector on the machine)
are the corresponding female connectors for connection of the external power cables for the fan, pump
and drain valve (Fig. 5.2.1), to be carried out as follows:

Feed the power cables through the plate with the cable glands.

Unscrew the threaded ring nut and the cable gland of the female connector.

Push the cable through the ferrule and the cable gland.

Strip the internal conductors (Fig. 5.2.2) and insert them into the connector terminals as shown
in the table below. The connector pins are numbered 1 to 4.

Tighten the terminal screws.

Reassemble the connector, making sure that all parts are tightly screwed together to ensure the
necessary degree of protection.
