SAFETY WARNINGS
The product must be installed by qualified personnel in accordance with local safety laws and regulations. Fracarro Radioindustrie
is consequently exempt from any civil or criminal liability resulting from violations of the laws in force in this area and deriving from
the improper use of the product by the installer, the user or third parties.
The installation of the product must be carried out according to the installation instructions provided, in order to protect the
operator from any accidents and the product from possible damage.
Warnings for the installation
•
Handle with care. Improper impact may damage the product.
•
Leave space around the product to ensure sufficient ventilation. Excessive working temperature and / or excessive
heating may compromise the operation and the life of the product.
•
Do not install the product on or near heat sources or in dusty places or where it may come into contact with corrosive
substances.
•
In case of wall mounting, use expansion plugs suitable for the characteristics of the fixing support. The wall and the fixing
system must be able to support at least 4 times the weight of the equipment.
•
Caution: to avoid injury, this appliance must be secured to the wall / floor according to the installation instructions.
•
Keep the extra-low voltage wires, including those of the battery, physically separated from the mains voltage wires. (and /
or from those of the telephone network).

In the event of a fault, do not attempt to repair the product or the warranty will no longer be valid.

2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
The outdoor detector consists of two dual PIR sensors and a 24 GHz microwave. The particularly evolved electronics have been
designed to guarantee the maximum performance in outdoor environments and at extreme temperatures. The three beams are
adjustable and allow to get a horizontal coverage of 170°. The coverage range of the lower IR can also be adjusted vertically in
order to obtain a coverage range within 3 m and 18 m.
The detector is also equipped with an active IR ANTI-MASKING function (EN 50131-1).
This function has been implemented to make the detector unassailable by those who may have access to the
detector’s installation site during the period in which the system is unarmed.
It detects any attempt to prevent its operation by blocking (masking) its detection field.
