1.5 POWERING DOWN
Be sure to power down both the SNOW-CROW PRO 2 and TX-500 after use to
help prolong the battery life.
Powering Down the TX-500
Push and hold the selector knob until the selection menu appears (with TURN
OFF TX-500 already highlighted). By pressing the selection knob a second
time the transmitter will shut off. Should you forget to turn off the transmitter
when you are finished, it will automatically shut down after 2 hours of non-use.
Powering Down the SNOW-CROW PRO 2
Turn off the SNOW-CROW PRO 2 by rotating the On/Off switch to the off
position.
2.0 ABOUT THE FOXPRO
®
SNOW-CROW PRO SPEAKERS
Included with the SNOW-CROW PRO 2 are two large and loud horn
loudspeakers. These speakers connect directly to the central unit with very
rugged plugs. You may connect up to four of these speakers to the central unit.
3.0 BATTERIES AND CHARGING
Your SNOW-CROW PRO 2 operates on a rechargeable 12V SLA gel-cell
battery (FOXPRO part number FP1270). A smart charger is in included with the
SNOW-CROW PRO 2.
Note: Make sure that you disconnect the battery wires from the battery
prior to initiating a charge cycle to help prevent any damage to the main
unit.
When connecting your charger to the SNOW-CROW PRO 2 battery, make sure
that you connect the red alligator clip to the red (positive) terminal on the
battery and the black alligator clip to the black (negative) terminal on the
battery.
The charger is automatic. When the battery is charging it will illuminate red and
when the charge is complete it will illuminate green.
4.0 “AUX” JACK FUNCTION
The SNOW-CROW PRO 2 is equipped with an auxiliary jack labeled “AUX”.
The purpose of this jack is to allow for the connection of certain external
devices, such as the FOXPRO
®
Jack-in-the-Box or Jack-Attack Decoy or other
approved devices, and to be able to turn these on and off with the TX-500
remote control transmitter. However, there are some strict electrical limits
involved with this jack. If these limits are exceeded, damage to your SNOW-
CROW PRO 2 will result. This damage is not covered by warranty.
