5.3: Long term storage of the wheelchair when not in use
The batteries should be kept fully charged, but they discharge by themselves naturally, gradually losing
capacity.
Turn off the circuit breaker to avoid this happening.
If the chair is not used for a long period of time, we recommend that it either be fully charged at least
once a month before disconnecting or left permanently connected.
Once connected to the power socket, charging takes place irrespective of whether the circuit breaker is
“on” or “off”.
