Storage Environment
Table 0.7 provides the storage environment specifications for the FastIron LS.
Mean Time Before Failure
Table 0.8 provides the intitial MTBF result for the FastIron LS (including the Power Supply Unit).
Cooling
The cooling fans cool the CPU, main memory, and voltage regulators. The fans use either a push or pull
configuration to move the air from the left side of the device to the right side of the device.

Total cooling capacity: 80 to 100 watts
•
Total air flow: 200 LFM
•
Operating noise: < 43 dB-A
NOTE:
Operating noise is based on the ISO 7779 standard.
