If the power supply cable should get damaged, it must only be replaced by a support centre or
qualified staff.

itting and electrical connection of the appliance to the mains can only be carried out by special-
ist staff. Electrical safety is only guaranteed if the hob is connected to a regular ground connection.
If in doubt, ask a qualified electrician to check the system. Do not connect the hob to the mains
with extensions or power strips, because they do not guarantee the necessary safety (e.g. risk of
overheating).
Before connecting the hob, you need to compare the connection data (voltage and frequency), on
the plate, with those of the electrical mains.
These data must perfectly match, otherwise the equipment could get damaged. If in doubt, con-
tact an electrician.

o carry out installation and maintenance works, as well as repairs, disconnect the appliance
from the electrical mains.

he electrical system must have a switch upstream of the appliance that guarantees omnipolar
disconnection with opening of the contacts by at least 3mm.

TTENTION: The safety devices on the hob must only be those designed by the manufacturer of
the cooking appliance or those indicated in the instructions by the manufacturer of the appliance
as suitable for use or safety devices on the hob built-into the appliance. Use of inadequate safety
devices can cause accidents.
