Test Basic Link Operation
Prior to deploying the AP, it is recommended that users connect it to an existing Meru deploy-
ment in order to ensure basic functionality. This can be done indoors in a controlled setting,
prior to going through the trouble of mounting it externally. To do so, simply connect the AP to
an existing controller and verify that the controller recognizes it. If so, proceed with the follow-
ing section in order to deploy the AP.
Mounting the Access Point
The OAP832e can be mounted on the following (brackets are included):
•
1.3” to 16” diameter round pole or 1.3” to 16” wide square pole
•
Wall
