HALF-FOLDING BACKREST OPTION

Backrest unfolding

To place the backrest in its vertical position, press the button of each mechanism and pull the 
handles upwards and front until they are in the position you need. Then, release the buttons 
and the backrest will lock on its place.

Backrest folding

To fold the backrest, press the buttons located at the middle of the backrest and push the 
handles downwards.

DUO OPTION

The Line Duo model has two sets of rear wheels of 600 and 250mm 
each. These wheels are interchangeable thanks to their quick release 
system.

Warning

: Use the 250mm wheels in their interior position only for 

short trips and indoors. Place these wheels on their exterior position for a 
normal use of the wheelchair.

Transit brakes for the DUO system

Transit brakes can be use to prevent the wheelchair from moving when on 
its 250mm wheels in any position (interior or exterior).

Forbidden

• 

Do not use the wheelchair with one rear wheel of each type (600mm and 75mm). Always 
use the same size of wheels in both sides.

• 

Do not move the wheelchair only using the KIT GIRO’s wheels.

• 

Do not use the KIT GIRO system as a pedal to tilt the wheelchair.

• 

Do not use the KIT GIRO system outdoors.

• 

Do not use on curbs, lateral slopes or in irregular terrain like sand, mud, etc.

• 

Do not manipulate the components of the KIT GIRO under no circumstances.

Forta will not be responsible for an inappropriate or negligent use of the product.

Press the trigger of each handle upwards to activate the brakes. To lock 
these brakes in place activate the red piece located at the beginning of 
the trigger.

ATTENDANT BRAKES OPTION

Attendant brakes allow a safe and convenient stop of the wheelchair.
