Screw the central boards to the fascia boards.
Ensure each one is
885mm from the inner face of the fascia board
shown above.
As a result, there will be an 80mm space between the central boards. Ensure the top edge is flush to the top edge of the fascia
boards

Attach the additional batten to the central board
(one for each board).
Ensure the bottom face of the batten is flush to the
bottom face of the central boards.
Secure with 4 x screws at each side shown above.
Place

Apply each fixture to each leg after fully constructing your pergola. These are just two examples of many, that you
could use to anchor your pergola.
FOR PATIO/DECKING (HARD SURFACES)
Screw a ‘heavy duty’ bracket to each post and to
the floor to secure.
FOR GRASS/SOIL (SOFT SURFACES)
Screw the a ‘heavy duty’ bracket to each post and
use a ‘hex peg’ or similar type of fixing to anchor
the bracket into the ground.
