Attaching to a tripod
This teleprompter kit can be used with a camera tripod. Your tripod should have a ‘quick
release plate’ from which you must remove the screw that usually attaches the quick
release plate to a camera.
Use the supplied screw set (G) in place of the removed screw to attached to the
Teleprompter frame as shown above. The wing-nut and washer should be on the
Teleprompter frame, the rest of the screw set should feed through the quick release plate.
Known issues with quick release plates:
- Some quick release plates hold the screw in place using clip. You will need to remove the
clip to release the screw (in some cases the clip is covered by a rubber pad).
