CHECK FOR CONTINUITY BETWEEN THE INOPERATIVE POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH MOTOR DOWN CIRCUIT AND GROUND
Measure the resistance between:
NOTE:
Front Passenger Power Window
the inoperative front passenger power window control switch C489 pin 3, circuit 32-AJ18 (WH/VT), harness side and
ground.
NOTE:
Left-hand Rear Passenger Power Window
the inoperative left-hand rear passenger power window control switch C490 pin 3, circuit 32-AJ32 (WH/BU), harness
side and ground.
NOTE:
Right-hand Rear Passenger Power Window
the inoperative right-hand rear passenger power window control switch C490 pin 3, circuit 32-AJ32 (WH/BU),
harness side and ground.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to
C7
.
No
REPAIR circuit 32-AJ18 (WH/VT) or circuit 32-AJ32 (WH/BU). TEST the system for normal operation.

CHECK CONTINUITY BETWEEN THE PASSENGER POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH AND THE PASSENGER POWER WINDOW MOTOR
Inoperative Passenger Power Window Motor
Measure the resistance between:
NOTE:
Front Passenger Power Window
the inoperative front passenger power window control switch C489 pin 1, circuit 33-AJ17 (YE/VT), harness side and
the passenger power window motor C783 pin 1, circuit 33-AJ17 (YE/VT), harness side.
NOTE:
Left-hand Rear Passenger Power Window
the inoperative left-hand rear passenger power window control switch C490 pin 1, circuit 33-AJ31 (YE/RD), harness
side and the passenger power window motor C784 pin 1, circuit 33-AJ31 (YE/RD), harness side.
NOTE:
Right-hand Rear Passenger Power Window
the inoperative right-hand rear passenger power window control switch C490 pin 1, circuit 33-AJ31 (YE/RD), harness
side and the passenger power window motor C784 pin 1, circuit 33-AJ31 (YE/RD), harness side.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to

No
REPAIR circuit 33-AJ17 (YE/VT) or circuit 33-AJ31 (YE/RD). TEST the system for normal operation.

the passenger power window motor C783 pin 2, circuit 32-AJ17 (WH/VT), harness side.
NOTE:
Left-hand Rear Passenger Power Window
the inoperative left-hand rear passenger power window control switch C490 pin 7, circuit 32-AJ31 (WH/RD), harness
side and the passenger power window motor C784 pin 2, circuit 32-AJ31 (WH/RD), harness side.
NOTE:
Right-hand Rear Passenger Power Window
the inoperative right-hand rear passenger power window control switch C490 pin 7, circuit 32-AJ31 (WH/RD),
harness side and the passenger power window motor C784 pin 2, circuit 32-AJ31 (WH/RD), harness side.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new power window motor. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
REPAIR circuit 32-AJ17 (WH/VT) or circuit 32-AJ17 (WH/VT) or circuit 32-AJ31 (WH/RD). TEST the system for normal
operation.
