TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM
The tire pressure monitoring system allows you to view the tire
pressure readings through the instrument cluster display. When
one or more of your tires are underinflated, your vehicle turns on
the low tire pressure warning light
in the instrument
cluster. If this happens, stop and check your tires as soon as
possible. Inflate them to the proper pressure. Refer to the
Tire
Pressure Monitoring System
chapter of your
Owner’s Manual
for more information.
TIRE SEALANT AND INFLATOR KIT*
The tire sealant and inflator kit consists of an air compressor
to re-inflate the tire and a canister of sealing compound that
effectively seals most punctures. This kit provides a temporary
tire repair allowing you to drive your vehicle up to 120 mi (200
km) at a maximum speed of 50 mph (80 km/h) to reach a tire
service location. The temporary mobility kit contains enough
sealant compound in the canister for one tire repair only. See
your authorized Ford dealer for replacement sealant canisters.
The kit is located under the load floor in the rear of the vehicle.
For complete information on using the tire sealant and inflator
kit, refer to the
Tire Sealant and Inflator Kit
chapter of your
Owner’s Manual
