CHECK CIRCUIT 128 (VT/YE) FOR AN OPEN CIRCUIT BETWEEN GEM AND INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
Measure the resistance between GEM C352 Pin 13, Circuit 128 (VT/YE), harness side and instrument cluster
C251 Pin 14, Circuit 128 (VT/YE), harness side.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new instrument cluster. REFER to
Instrument Cluster
. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
No
REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.

CHECK THE BRAKE FLUID LEVEL SWITCH FOR AN INTERNAL GROUND
Brake Fluid Level Switch C164
With the parking brake released, check the BRAKE warning indicator.
Is the BRAKE warning indicator always on?
Yes
GO to

No
INSTALL a new brake fluid level switch. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
