8: Cover the service hatch
with cover. Dress the
reservoir top with the bag of
pebbles.
11: Fill the reservoir with water and switch on the pump. The pump can
be adjusted to obtain the required flow rate by removing the service
hatch cover and adjusting the pump. In a windy location reducing the
flow rate will avoid the water blowing off the ball.
Foras cleaning kits are
available to help prevent algae
build up, and keep the stone
and water clean.
12: During the winter the pump should be switched off to protect from
frost and placed in an insulated bag then returned into the support pipe.
The ball should then be replaced ready for an easy start in the spring.
