Activating and deactivating this control, you can easily check if the feedback suppressor is deleting
feedback.

5.- You can choose the feedback detection sensitivity with the

SENSITIVITY

control wheel. There are 15

sensitivity levels. You can choose the best one for your needs. To start with it is best to choose an
intermediate position.
The

RESET STOP

position stops the feedback detection process and resets and restarts all the notch

filters. The

LED LOCK

and

ATTENUATION

indicators will blink.

6.- The

LOCK

control (

HPF/UPF

) lets you select the update mode for the notch filter parameters.

With the

LED LOCK

indicator on the feedback suppressor is in

HPF

(

Hold Parametric Filters

) mode.

In this case the 12 notch filters per channel are estimated, adjusted once, fixed and then stop feedback
detection. The

ATTENUATION

control adjustments have no effect. This mode can be used when the

microphones are in a fixed location.
If the

LED LOCK

indicator is switched off, the feedback suppressor is in

UPF

(

Update Parametric

Filters

) mode. The 12 notch filters per channel are set at the beginning and feedback detection continues

so that the notch filters are reset and reused if necessary. In this case the

ATTENUATION

control

adjustments do have an effect. This mode can be used with microphones which are not in one fixed
location.

7.- The

ATTENUATION (MPF/RPF)

control chooses the notch filters attenuation updating mode. This

control only has any effect when the UPF function is activated and the

LED LOCK

indicator is off.

When the

LED ATTENUATION

indicator is on, the

RPF

(

Release Parametric Filter

) mode has been

chosen. In this case the feedback suppressor gradually reduces the filter attenuation if it is not necessary,
removing the attenuation completely after a certain amount of time. If new feedback is produced, the
filter attenuation will be increased again.
With the

LED ATTENUATION

indicator off, the

MPF

(

Maintain Parametric Filter

) operating mode is

chosen. This is where the notch filter attenuation is fixed.
