CONNECTION AND OPERATING
DIRECT CONNECTION WITH CAT 5e/6 CABLE
- Connect the digital A/V source to the transmitter INPUT using HDMI cable.
- Connect the receiver OUTPUT to the television using HDMI cable.
- Use Cat 5e/6 cable of up to 120 meters to connect the transmitter and the receiver according to the IEEE-
568B standard.
- Power the
FO-457M
transmitter and receiver with the mains adapters provided.
- Switch on the digital A/V source and the television.
Note
: select the same channel in the receiver as in the transmitter.
CONNECTION OVER TCP/IP ETHERNET
- Connect the digital A/V source to the transmitter INPUT using the HDMI cable.
- Connect the receiver OUTPUT to the television using HDMI cable.
- Connect the transmitter output to the switch input using Cat 5e/6 cable according to the IEEE-568B
standard.
- Use Cat 5e/6 cable of up to 120 meters to connect the switch and the receiver according to the IEEE-568B
standard.
- Power the
FO-457M
transmitters and the
FO-458MR
receivers with the mains adapters provided.
- Switch on the digital A/V source and the televisions.
Note
: this configuration allows up to 100 transmitters and as many receivers as you require to be connected.
In each receiver select the channel that corresponds to the transmitter with the required audio/video
source. The SWITCH must support the IGMP function.
CONNECTING THE TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER IR CABLE (IR PASSBACK)
1.- Insert the emitter in the transmitter’s IR OUT connector.
2.- Insert the receiver cable in the receiver IR IN connector.
Nota:
IR PASSBACK allows remote control of the source from the location of the receiver. The control
provided allows the channel and the transmitter/receiver ID of

and
FO-458MR
to be
controlled.
