Main jack
Used to connect the supplied IEC mains cable. Powercon mains
jack: for lockable Powercon mains plugs. A significantly safer
mains connector - the Powercon plug and jack connector
prevent the unit from being unplugged unintentionally during
operation.

Sub level volume
Use this sub-level controller to adjust the bass level to match
the acoustic conditions at the event location or to meet your
own requirements. Special feature: you can raise or lower the
entire bass range very effectively between 35Hz - 130Hz by +/-
6 dB. This allows you to use your Xperience in a wide variety of
applications ranging from very small rooms to large halls; you
will always find the right bass setting.
(3)
Power switch (on/off)
Actuating the Power on/off switch starts up the amplifier, the
switched-mode mains and the DSPs in soft-start mode. The
speakers are then activated and the status LEDs for ch1 (13)
and ch2 (14) light up green - your Xperience is ready for
operation.

5.3 Controls for Sub XS-1/2
(see page 26!)
All controls are fitted flush to the brushed
aluminium back plate for protection. The
amplifier is cooled via the back plate. The
back plate is usually only 14°C warmer than
the ambient temperature.
The temperature and speed-controlled fan provide extra cooling if
the ventilation conditions are unfavourable or the ambient
temperatures are extreme, e.g. direct sunlight. The fan is not
usually required during normal operation and is therefore switched
off.
Output port ch2
The multifunctional XT-1/2 Tops or the additional passive
Sub
XSP-2
are connected to output jack (5). Plug & Play.
To the Sub
XS-1
you can connect up to three Tops
XT-1
(16
Ω
)
per channel (ch1 and ch2).
To the Sub
XS-2
you can connect up to two Tops
XT-2
(8
Ω
)
per channel (ch1 and ch2).
Observe the minimum impedance of 4 ohms!

If an operational error occurs, the amplifier switches to
Protect (protect LEDs for ch1 (13) and / or ch2 (12) light
up red)
Advice:
To connect passive sub XSP-2 with XS-1/2 only use 4-core
speakon loudspeaker cable!
