All models : Ensure all/any protective film is removed as the facia may be damaged if the fire

is lit with the facia in position whilst still covered in film.

P23 & L23 models: The facia panel is supplied attached to the fire.  To remove the facia panel,

first, remove the lower retaining screws (one on each side of the appliance). Simply lift the

frame upwards. Refitting is the reverse of removal. Ensure the cut-outs in the bottom of the

frame support brackets engage the lower screws on each side of the appliance. See figure 10.

L23 models :. The glass facia panel is supported by four M6 screws which protrude from

the front of the outer casing. 

Ensure each screw is unscrewed approximately one turn from the fully screwed in posi-

tion in order to create a 2mm gap (shown in figure 11). Simply hang the facia panel onto

the outer casing ensuring that the corresponding keyhole shaped holes engage the screw-

heads fully (see figure 12).
