Always Disconnect The Appliance From The Mains Supply Before  Undertaking Any Maintenance.

Excluding lamps and fuses, use only genuine spare parts available from your supplier. Replacement lamps must be of the same wattage and spec-
ification as those stated in Section 3.0 Appliance Data.

Replacing the lamp.

The fuel effect lamp can be replaced by firstly placing the fire front to one side and then by following the steps described.

1.

Disconnect the appliance from the mains.

2.

Blenheim, Traditional & Elegance models :

Withdraw the fuel bed by pulling it gently towards you.

Lulworth models :

Remove the fuel bed by removing the frame, pebbles and removing the screw attaching the fuelbed to the

appliance ‘shelf’.

3.

Remove the lamp. Note that the lamp has a conventional B22 bayonet fitting. Replace with a new lamp.

4.

Refit the fuel bed.

5.

Replace the fire front.

There is no specific requirement for care of the fire other than a regular cleaning of the general appliance.

DO NOT use abrasive cleaners as they can damage the finish. Brass and silver parts of the fire may be cleaned using a appropriate metal pol-
ishes.

Lulworth models :

Stainless steel areas may be cleaned using a soft damp cloth or a stainless steel cleaner.

IMPORTANT -

Always clean in the

direction of the grain and never across it, as this will scratch the surface.  It is recommended that a small, inconspicuous area is attempted before
cleaning the entire stainless steel area - to ensure the cleaning material is suitable.  Be careful when removing the frame as the loose pebbles
may become dislodged.

The area around the fire should be kept free of dust, lint, animal hair and other extraneous material that be drawn in to the workings of appli-
ance and could affect its performance.

Refer to Section 3.0 Appliance Data for lamp and fuse specification. Excluding lamps and fuses, use only genuine manufacturers spare parts avail-
able from your supplier.

As our policy is one of continuous improvement and development, we therefore hope that you will understand we must retain the right to amend details and/or specifica-
tions without prior notice.
