Attention!

Make sure that the operator has read and understood the
operating instructions.

The operator must be instructed on proper use before operating
the
pump.

Never leave the pump unattended.
Attention!

When using pumps and motors in hazardous areas, do not use
motor adapters.

Only switch the motor on when there is medium on the suction side.

No dry running.

Before you switch on the pump make sure that there is still enough
liquid in the container (dry running).
2.5 For use in hazardous areas
Attention!

Observe the EC type examination certificate and the certificate
of conformity, respectively.

The pump must not be used as a stationary unit in hazardous
locations.
Danger!

Use a motor protection device including a switch lock to prevent au-
tomatic start-up (e.g. by switching on the pump by means of a plug).
In case of automatic filling, a motor with a protective device can also
be used without a switch lock.
Explosion hazard!

For use in hazardous locations only use explosion-proof electric
motors which are approved for category 2 (ZONE 1).

If the motors are operated together with the pump, comprehensive,
clear equipotential bonding is essential (earthing).

Connect the electric motor with an explosion-proof plug or via an
explosion-proof cable terminal box.

For equipotential bonding, an electrically conductive connection
must be produced between the motor and the pump according
to DIN EN 60079-0 and DIN EN 60079-14.
