Scope of this Operating Manual
This operating manual is intended to familiarize the reader with the Argus Ball Valve and its
intended use. Operating the Argus Ball Valve in compliance with this operating manual is
important to help ensure reliability in service and avoid risks.
This operating manual provides information for qualified personnel on the intended use of
the Argus Ball Valve as well for its special design variants.
Read this operating manual prior to handling the Argus Ball Valve in any region
worldwide and pay particular attention to the marked safety-relevant warnings,
information and instructions.
Do not put the Argus Ball Valve into service until all of the safe operating
conditions referred to in this operating manual have been met.
Failure to comply with the information provided in the operating manual shall
be considered to be misuse. Personal injury, product damage, delays in
