Function Description

The cordless hedge trimmer features 

a laser-cut knife of special-grade steel. 

When trimming, the cutting teeth move to 

and fro in a linear shearing motion. The 

strike guard at the tip of the knife prevents 

unpleasant kickback reactions when hit-

ting walls, fences, etc. Operators are pro-

tected by the appliance’s two-hand safety 

switch and quick-stop brake function. 

The hand protection guards your hands 

against twigs and branches.

Scope of delivery

Carefully unpack the trimmer and check 

that it is complete:

-  Cordless hedge trimmer

-  Knife guard 

-  Battery

-  Battery charger

Charging the battery

 

  Do not expose the battery to 

extreme conditions such as heat 

or impact. Risk of injury from 

escaping electrolytic solution! 

 

  Prior to charging the battery, check 

that its outer surface is clean and 

dry. 

•  The battery of the appliance is not 

fully charged at the time of delivery. It 

therefore needs to be fully recharged 

before you use it for the first time. 

•  Recharge the battery when you notice 

that the appliance is becoming slower.

•  Do not keep charging the battery 

continuously and avoid it becoming 

entirely discharged since this may 

damage the battery cells.

 

The warranty excludes all defects 

caused by improper handling.

•  If a fully recharged battery lasts for 

considerably shorter operating times, 

the battery is used up and needs to 

be replaced. Only use an OEM battery 

pack replacement available from our 

Customer Service.
